Moving home (Part 2 of 3)

Sometimes time accelerates. Friday morning Jeremy suggests we check up on the other apartment going in our complex. That afternoon I took off some time from work, saw the place, and then signed the rent agreement. On Saturday morning it was processed, and we're moving in on 1st August.

I'm quite happy with our current position. It allows me to use the train to get to work, keeping my stress level down (and/by) giving me some time to read. It's also a nice area - close to shops, away from the madhouse. So moving downstairs a a few apartments to the left isn't as sad as it may sound.

Finally, a study for my computers. And a shower! And a garden for Jeremy's hound. And we can actually have people over too.

    I make sure that the systems run smoothly at this Cape Town-born Web 2.0 startup.

  • Presentations

    I speak publically on a number of topics - generally related to technical aspects of open source software or on software development.

  • Code

    I've written a few software projects of my own over the years (although mostly I'm the only user of them).

  • Photos

    I'm far from an artist, but I enjoy capturing my experiences on camera.
