The South African Revenue Service (whose outsourced online tax submission system still doesn't support anything but Windows and Internet Explorer over 7 months after a go-ahead to support them) seems to be putting that behind them and has released a tender for enterprise Linux support on their SARS tenders list. 11 days to respond to a tender of that magnitude? Ouch!

I'm assuming that they are assuming that only the big boys are going to submit tender documents?

Though they're requesting the document in MS Word format, according to Tectonic :)

Look carefully at the Tender, you'll see that it was compiled with someone (Umm read Novell) in mind already.... I mean, who else has a partnership with IBM, and can provide indemnicfication on software patents... no brainer... SARS suck. How about the right to tender fairly?
